They're both outstanding figures, and the likeness is captured very well for both, so they at least add some interesting variety to the line. Selina is the same figure save for the pulled-up mask but comes with a coiled-up whip instead of the extended one. Batman ships with two open hands instead of the open palm and includes the Batarang from the film instead of a grapnel gun.
Unmasked versions of Batman and Catwoman guarantee those figures remain on shelves, though with some notable changes. There winds up being a lot of re-use for Wave 2. Drifter Bruce Wayne looks gorgeous and has a ton of detail, from the thick black eye shadow to the massive backpack however, the figure's design means many of the joints are simpler and obscured, limiting how much the figure can be posed. Riddler is a beautiful piece, but a lot of the detail of the figure – from the translucent material wrapped around his head to the carpet tucker accessory he's paired with – may not be as interesting if you're not familiar with the movie. Riddler and Drifter Bruce Wayne round out the wave, and they're still great, though the basics of their designs mean they're just not as exciting as Batman and Catwoman. She's a killer figure on her own but makes for a hell of a display piece when posed with Batman. Selina's rocking one solid fist and an open hand designed to hold her extended whip. The proportions look right, none of the joints feel like they're spindly or thin, and she's not making any weird wavy hand gestures like 90% of the Marvel Legends female characters. This is undoubtedly one of the best figures of a female character we've seen across any line. Of course, that eye line makes a lot of sense when you get to Catwoman, who is looking to her right, allowing the two to stare each down mid-combat.
